Here are the Caltrans road projects that are planned for the week beginning Sunday May 18th to the 24th, 2025 in Tuolumne and Calaveras Counties.
On Highway 49 one-way traffic control from San Domingo Creek to San Antonio Creek will allow for tree work on Tuesday from 7 to 11 a.m.
On Highway 49 one-way traffic control from end of the passing lane to Calaveritas Creek will allow for tree work on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. and on Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
On Highway 49 one-way traffic control between Von Kleiben Road and Freguero Road, between Sonora and Tuttletown, for utility work beginning Monday through Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
On Highway 49 one-way traffic control from Gold Strike Road to Spring Hills Road for utility/tree on Wednesday from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m.
On Highway 49 one-way traffic control from Spring Hills Road to Old Woman Gulch for tree work on Friday from 8 a.m. until Noon.
On Highway 49 one-way traffic control Lombardi Drive to Neilson Road for tree work on Thursday from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.
On Highway 49 one-way traffic control from Main Street to Stockton Hill Road for utility work on Thursday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
On Highway 49 one-way traffic control between Harvard Mine Road and Rolling Hills Boulevard in Jamestown for landscaping work beginning Monday through Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
On Highway 120 one-way traffic control between Grizzley Road and Old Priest Grade Road for drainage work beginning Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.
On Highway 120 one-way traffic control between Big Oak Road and .4 miles east for utility work on Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. until 10 a.m.
On Highway 120 one-way traffic control between Saw Mill Mountain Road and Hardin Flat for utility work on Thursday from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m.
On Highway 26 one-way traffic control from Gill Haven Drive to Rich Gulch Lane continues for the long-term construction work. The work will continue between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. through December. There will also be extra utility work and one-way traffic control just west of Gillhaven Drive Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
On Highway 4 one-way traffic control from Telegraph Road to Shirley Road for utility work on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
On Highway 4 one-way traffic control from Shirley Road to Horseshoe Drive for utility work on Thursday from 9 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5 to 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
