The country music sensation and American Idol winner shared her go-to method for navigating the often harsh world of social media: the "post and ghost" strategy. She shared the concept with Idol contestants last month, which Underwood, 42, credits to podcast giant Joe Rogan. It involves sharing content online but avoiding the temptation to check the comments or engage with critics.
“It’s called the ‘post and ghost.’ You put your stuff out on the social media, and you don’t look at the comments. That’s how I live my life, man,” Underwood stated to her contestants. In another interview with E! News back in April, she also credited Rogan for this method, saying, “Anytime anybody thinks they’re yelling at me or insulting me or telling me I look a certain way — or I’m not enough this, or I’m too much that — they’re just yelling at the clouds. I don’t hear or see any of it.”
