Greeley-Evans District 6 certified staff members will see a 2% increase to their starting salary for the 2025-26 school year.
The District 6 Board of Education approved the tentative agreements, including increases to salary schedules, into the district’s master contract at Monday’s business meeting.
Annette Overton, the district’s assistant superintendent of human resources, and Erin Snyder, president of the Greeley Education Association (GEA), presented agreement recommendations from committee reports on compensation, language changes and more following negotiations between district administration, the school board and the GEA in March. The three committee reports focused on time and learning, systems of support and compensation.
The board approved the compensation committee’s proposal to increase next year’s salary base to $53,040 and the top salary to $121,161 for certified staff, licensed employees like teachers and special service providers. Salary schedules display how to move up the ladder and raise pay if certified staff further their education and pursue additional degrees.
“We all agreed we want to remain competitive in Northern Colorado,” Overton said. “All employees will see an increase in pay.”
