The Kansas City Chiefs remain in the NFL spotlight despite failing to achieve a historic Super Bowl three-peat last season.
And that means Patrick Mahomes and company are being given plenty of the prime slots on the new 2025 league schedule.
Eight to be exact.
The Chiefs are the first team in league history to have five primetime games in the first eight weeks of the season.
Over another 18 weeks and 17 regular-season games, the Chiefs will aim to put themselves in the best possible position to reclaim their crown.
A heavy defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles at Super Bowl LIX in February will have hurt, but they remain one of the favorites to lift the Lombardi Trophy at the end of next season.
The Chiefs will be playing on both Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

“I’ve been in Jacksonville in September, that’s ******* miserable.
