PATRICK Mahomes was handed a Christmas gift by NFL schedule makers this week.
The quarterback and his Kansas City Chiefs will feature on the holiday once again.
Five games for the 2025 NFL season were confirmed on Monday.
Two of them were by Amazon Prime Video, with the Chiefs part of their announcement.
Prime confirmed their Thursday Night Football showdown taking place on Christmas Day.
The Denver Broncos will visit the Kansas City Chiefs for an AFC West showdown.
It will begin at 8.15 pm ET and complete a Christmas Day triple-header.
Like in 2024, Netflix will stream two games on the holiday globally.
Last season marked the first year of their deal with the NFL.
And Netflix pulled out all the stops, including a Mariah Carey cameo and a halftime performance from Beyonce.
The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Pittsburgh Steelers on December 25 in the first Netflix game.
NFL boss Roger Goodell confirmed that the Chiefs approached the league with a special request.
Kansas City wanted to play on the holiday every year as part of a new tradition.
It would follow the Thanksgiving tradition where the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys always play at home.
But Goodell indicated the league would rather move the games around.
But the Chiefs are one of the NFL’s ratings draws and their wish for 2025 has been granted by Amazon.
The Netflix double header on Christmas Day has yet to be confirmed as of Tuesday morning.

Thurs 4 Sept, 8.20 pm ET - Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles, NBC
Fri 28 Nov, 3 pm ET – Chicago Bears at Philadelphia Eagles, Amazon
Sat 20 Dec, TBC – Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Commanders, Fox
Sat 20 Dec, TBC – Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears, Fox
Thur 25 Dec, 8.15 pm ET – Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs, Amazon
Amazon also announced their Black Friday showdown in 2025.
The Chicago Bears will visit the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles at 3 pm ET on November 28.
Three other games were also confirmed on Monday.
The Eagles will kickoff the 2025 campaign against the Dallas Cowboys on September 4.
And Fox announced a Saturday doubleheader for December 20.
It will feature the Washington Commanders at the Philadelphia Eagles and the Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears.
