According to various journalists, the BCCI is likely to shift the summit clash from Kolkata to Ahmedabad. As far as the weather conditions are concerned, the Eden Gardens is likely to receive around 65% of precipitation on June 3, the rescheduled date of the final.

As per the initial schedule, Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium is set to host Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator, while Eden Gardens is slated to host Qualifier 2. However, the final may no longer be Kolkata’s to stage. In fact, there are reports that the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai will be allowed to host at least one playoff game.
The IPL schedule has been revised, with double headers on Sundays and key matches planned. Teams like Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad won’t play their remaining home games at their usual venues. Delhi will host CSK’s final home game and SRH’s last home game, both teams being out of playoff contention.
