DALLAS Cowboys star quarterback Dak Prescott revealed a big announcement on social media over the weekend.
The three-time NFL Pro Bowl’s message came as the Cowboys’ offseason is in full swing.
Mother’s Day was on Sunday, and Prescott felt the need to send a family tribute to his fiancée, and a soon-to-be human being.
The 31-year-old and his fiancée, Sarah Jane Ramos, announced earlier this year that they’re expecting their second child this month.
The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Margaret Jane Rose Prescott, in February 2024, and got engaged that October.
So Prescott sent heartfelt words to his significant other on Mother’s Day, as well as their one-year-old child, and the second, who is on the way.
“Extra hugs, kisses and claps for mama today,” he wrote in an Instagram story.
“These two girls (one expected) are so blessed to call you mama,” Prescott said in another picture.
The last photo showed a picture of Prescott alongside his fiancée with their daughter walking in front of them.
Prescott also revealed a tribute to his late mother, Peggy.
She died from colon cancer in 2013 when he was still in college.
“Always celebrating you. I love you so much and miss you mama,” Prescott wrote along with an old photo with Peggy.
Prescott’s social media post comes after a rough 2024 campaign for the Cowboys.
He suffered a season-ending hamstring injury eight weeks into the season in November.
After the 7-10 campaign, the Cowboys didn’t retain Mike McCarthy as head coach and hired offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer to replace him.
They then saw the Philadelphia Eagles claim the Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The contest will take place at 8:20 pm ET on Thursday, September 4, on NBC.
The full NFL schedule for 2025 will be unveiled on Wednesday night.
Prescott will hope to lead the Cowboys back to the playoffs.
