Alice Cooper might be going to the Hall of Fame—again!
For over 50 years, Alice Cooper has been a shock rock revolutionary, blending music and theatrics to create an on-stage experience like no other.
But he’s also a beloved radio personality. For decades, he’s sat behind the mic to host the syndicated rock show Nights With Alice Cooper and his new program, Alice’s AtticWith Alice Cooper. And his hard work is about to be celebrated, as he’s now nominated for the Radio Hall of Fame.
Alice was among the 24 legendary radio figures selected for this year’s nominees. The list, unveiled on April 12, also includes Baltimore’s Laurie DeYoung, D.L. Hughley, Colin Cowherd, Funkmaster Flex, Mojo in the Morning, and one of the first ever MTV VJs, Martha Quinn.
“It’s always a thrill to be recognized for doing what you love,” said Cooper in a press release. “For decades I’ve told stories on stage, on records and now on the radio – where I interact directly with rock lovers to share deep cuts, lost classics and the kind of behind-the-scenes stories you can’t Google.”
“I’m grateful to The Museum of Broadcast Communications, Radio Hall of Fame Nominating Committee, the industry and listeners for the honor of this nomination,” he added.

Nearly 1,000 members of the radio industry will vote on who gets in, picking six of the 24 nominees. Eight Radio Hall of Fame inductees will be announced on June 20. The 2025 Radio Hall of Fame ceremony will occur on October 30 at the Swissotel Hotel in Chicago.
Alice is already a Hall of Famer: he was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2011, along with original Alice Cooper group members Michael Owen Bruce, Glen Buxton, Dennis Dunaway and Neal Smith.
In April, the surviving members of the original Alice Cooper group—Alice, Michael, Dennis, and Neal—announced The Revenge of Alice Cooper, their first album together since 1973’s Muscle of Love.
