It was a brutal day for TV lovers as NBC lowered the axe across a total of 5 fan-favorite shows.
The network didn't do anything to ease cancelation anxiety, cleaning house across many of its freshman and sophmore shows, including the recent Suits reboot Suits LA.

Set within the world created by USA Network drama starring Gabriel Macht, Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle, the Stephen Amell-led spinoff didn't evoke the same excitement, ending with a cancellation after just one season.
Shanola Hampton and Mark-Paul Gosselaar'sFound, focusing on a public relations specialist saving missing persons and playing a cat-and-mouse game with her abductor, along with Law & Order alum Jesse L. Martin's procedural The Irrational, about a university professor who uses human behavior to solve cases, were both canceled after two seasons.
Also getting nixed were George Lopez's comedy Lopez vs. Lopez and Melissa Rauch's courtroom sitcom Night Court after three seasons.
And that brings the total to a whopping five shows across a variety of genres, leaving fans understandably upset after they've invested so much time into these characters and storylines, particularly fans of one show who felt it was one of the best on primetime television.
"NBC canceled Found and now I’m angry," one wrote on X (formerly Twitter), as another added, "Wooowwww NBC! Really?! Yall gonna cancel FOUND?!"
"NBC canceled Found, Irrational, and Suits LA… all in one SWEEP! Jesus Christ!" another exclaimed, as another emphasized, "This is the cancellation that will hit me the hardest this year. I loved #FoundNBC so much and I need someone to save it."
The outrage kept going with reactions such as "Why did NBC cancel so many of their GREAT current shows?!!!! Like what do you mean they canceled FOUND?!!! That show is phenomenal," "Found got canceled…@nbc you will pay for your crimes!!!!" "ALL RISE!!!! Court is now in session for the season 3 finale of #NightCourt !!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL THIS SHOW NBC, IT'S SO GOOD AND SO FUN!!!!!" and "NBC cancelling all their dramas besides Dick Wolf productions is crazy. Why even bother getting invested in tv shows anymore."
Another was extremely furious, writing, "nbc cancelling all their shows because of BASKETBALL? f--- them man. they’re on my sh--list with abc now. haven’t bothered with abc since they cancelled forever. stupid a-- studios don’t know good tv."
One raised valid questions: "I don’t remember a time when this amount of shows was canceled all at once. NBC said they had to make cuts due to them having the NBA this year and there are limited time slots. You have two networks. NBC and Peacock."
The network previously renewed three One Chicago shows, Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and Chicago Med, hailing from Dick Wolf—but with a catch.
