Mindy Kaling was barely recognizable to fans in a new set of photos taken to celebrate the grand opening of a brand new location of Great Wolf Lodge.
The Office alum teamed up with the beloved hotel brand and the Make a Wish Foundation to mark the big day for the new Mashantucket, CT property, where they worked to "create memorable moments...for kids in need of a little extra joy."
She wore a red one-piece swimsuit with a striped blue and white towel wrapped around her waist, however, the new photos of the actress, who recently underwent a notable weight transformation, left fans second-guessing who they were looking at.

One fan viewing the photos admitted, "I thought that first photo was ai," while another suggested that it looked "like her head doesn’t belong on that body."
"Ummm it looks like Mindy’s head is super imposed on a stock photo," someone else said.
Some comments also referred to the weight-loss drug Ozempic, which Kaling has previously refuted taking.
“The truth is that I spend so much time and energy trying to be healthy," she told People in 2023. "I run or hike 20 miles a week and I lift weights. It’s a big commitment for me. I basically live in workout clothes so I can get it in."
She added, “I know people are really interested in the changes in my body, and I think it’s flattering but sometimes it’s just a little much, so I try not to tune into it.”
Even more fans focused on the topic at hand, gushing over the sweet interactions between Kaling and the kids.
"What a great choice in @mindykaling! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️," one declared, as another wrote, "Oh my gosh, this is beautiful. Brava @mindykaling.
