In the video, Drucker shares, “For 41 years I’ve been lucky to walk through these doors every day, I’ve lived two-thirds of my life here. I’ve been through tough times, wonderful times and everything in between and days has been my constant. No matter what was going on in the outside world I could come here and be in a place I know and love. Growing up I could have never imagined I’d have such a incredible career and end up as executive producer of a legacy television show.

The executive producer continued, “I’m so grateful to spend countless hours with all of you, who have been so supportive of me and my journey at Days. Thank you for all making this the place that I love to come. I thank you for all of your support and I thank you for this hard-working dedicated cast and crew for everything they give every single day.”

Nichols captioned the post, “I’m already missing this smile and your presence, Janet. I am so grateful that you are coming back to direct on occasion. I know everyone at #Days, cast and crew included, has the deepest love and respect for you. Go enjoy those grandkids! Wishing you all the best. Much love, Stephen”

During her time on the show, Drucker has won three Daytime Emmys and has had over 15 nominations.

Former co-executive producer Noelle Maxam will return to the role. Maxam’s episodes will begin airing in early 2026.

Unlike other soap operas, which film closer to airdates, Days of Our Lives films approximately nine months in advance in order to keep production costs down. This is why there will be such a lag between when Drucker exits and Maxam content will hit the air.

Fans have a lot to look forward to as Drucker’s episodes continue to air throughout the series 60th anniversary. With some of the confirmed familiar faces returning to the show this year include the highly anticipated return of Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso). Additional returning faces include Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), her father Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), and his wife Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves). Twins Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney), Sami’s son, Will Horton (Chandler Massey), and his daughter who is also Sami’s granddaughter, Arianna Horton (Marissa Reye). Also making an appearance this year will be Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis), and his wife Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley).

Days of Our Lives streams weekdays on Peacock.
