Get your "Midnight Margaritas" ready, because Practical Magic 2 is riding its broomstick into theaters this year. Naturally, the internet is freaking out.
Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman, who starred as witches and sisters Sally and Gillian Owens in the classic 1998 romantic fantasy film, will reprise their roles in the film.
The announcement came via social media on Tuesday when Warner Bros. Studios posted a teaser video featuring both actresses' voices reciting a spell.
"The spell is cast. The date is set. Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman return. Only in theaters September 18, 2026," the video is captioned. It concludes with Harry Nilsson's "Coconut" playing in the background, a key tune from the original film.

In the short video, you can hear Kidman saying, “Tooth of wolf and morning dew.” Later, Bullock notes, “Something old and something new.” Together, they say, "Let the spell begin to mix. Sept. 18, 2026.”

Fans were whipped up into a frenzy over the news.
"I'm literally crying now. SANDRA BULLOCK coming back to the film industry with the most POWERFUL NICOLE KIDMAN. This is the best news of 2025," one fan commented.
Another chimed in with, "I'm already planning my entire 2025 Witchy Season around this."
"I just SCREAMED!! This is one of my favorite movies ever!," a fan replied.
Of course, many of the comments involved requests for a soundtrack filled with music by Stevie Nicks and endless references to "Midnight Margaritas," which the sisters drank as they danced with their aunts.
Based on the beloved book of the same name by Alice Hoffman, the original film adaptation starred Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest as Gillian and Sally's aunts, who taught them the tricks of the witchy trade.
