‘That’s the series’ – Major Steph Curry injury update with worrying problem to keep star out of Warriors-Timberwolves

THE Golden State Warriors have been dealt a major blow in their second-round playoff series.

After pulling off an upset against the No. 2 seed Houston Rockets, the Golden State Warriors are in serious trouble.

As the No. 7 seed, the Warriors beat the Rockets in seven games to take on the No. 6 seed Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Timberwolves look especially strong, and the Warriors will need to play their best in order to take them down.

Unfortunately for the Warriors, they won’t be at their best.

After beating the Timberwolves in Game 1 of the series, it was revealed that Steph Curry will miss multiple games with a Grade 1 hamstring strain.

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, that injury will likely hold Curry out for at least a week.

That means Curry is likely out for the next four games at minimum.

This is an awful situation for the Warriors, but the team should be encouraged by their Game 1 performance.

In that game, Curry played just 13 minutes before sustaining his hamstring injury.

The Warriors still pulled off a 99-88 win and Curry scored just 13 points.

“He’s obviously crushed,” head coach Steve Kerr said after the game.

“But the guys picked him up and played a great game, and obviously we’re all concerned about Steph but it’s part of the game.”

The team’s bench is going to need to step up big time without him, but it shows that they are capable of winning even if Curry isn’t on the court.

“Robin turned in Batman,” Draymond Green said.

“Alfred turned into Robin, and they just filled in. It was beautiful to see.”

Despite the Game 1 win and the team’s optimism, NBA fans are skeptical that the Warriors can win the series and shared their thoughts on social media.
