Work on the interchange began in October, before breaking for the winter. Crews resumed in March, and the project is expected to be completed by June. The project is budgeted at $4 million, and Jalisco International, out of Commerce City, is completing the work.
Crews are installing new guardrails, improving signage and striping, as well as widening shoulders along the corridor, according to CDOT. All upgrades are aimed at making the interchange safer.
