Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batter Angkrish Raghuvanshi played a decent knock for his team in the ongoing game against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The match between the two teams is taking place at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
Angkrish Raghuvanshi, who walked out to bat at four, played another vital innings with the bat for Kolkata Knight Riders in the ongoing IPL 2025. The right-hander walked out to bat after Rahmanullah Gurbaz got out in the 8th over of the innings.
Angkrish Raghuvanshi continued his golden touch with the bat as he timed the ball to perfection. The right-hander pierced the gaps brilliantly as he made sure that he provided support to skipper Ajinkya Rahane and then Andre Russell.
Angkrish Raghuvanshi also played some magnificent shots in his innings and batted till the 19th over, making sure that Kolkata Knight Riders got runs at both ends. The right-hander was looking all set for a big innings, but in an attempt to score quickly, he lost his wicket.
Angkrish Raghuvanshi got out to Jofra Archer on the first ball of the 19th over. The Rajasthan Royals pacer bowled a length delivery around middle and leg, which was slower. The Kolkata Knight Riders batter looked to swing it over deep backward square leg.
He got a good connection but didn't get the distance. The ball went high up in the air, and the substitute fielder Ashok Sharma latched on to it to take a brilliant catch.
What caught the attention of many was the reaction of Angkrish Raghuvanshi after getting out. The Kolkata Knight Riders batter was absolutely furious as he slammed his bat in frustration and threw it away, as he was disappointed with the way he got out.
