Donald Trump is easy to hate
Judge Willis Kulp asked recently, “Where does hatred for Trump come from? And why?” Here is an answer.
According mental health experts, Trump has narcissistic, antisocial (sociopathic) and paranoid personality disorders. His is an impulsive, erratic, vindictive bully who lies persistently and dehumanizes anyone with whom he disagrees. He is an authoritarian and a social dominator. He demands loyalty, not competence or intelligence, and eliminates those who are not sufficiently loyal.
Trump has no regard for laws or rules that he thinks are not in his favor, including federal laws, the US Constitution, and courts (deporting people without due process, refusing court orders).
He demonstrates many steps toward fascism: defining a terrifying enemy (immigrants); controlling the press (“fake news,” “the enemy of the people,” restricted press access to briefings); harassing and criticizing citizens (sports teams; Mexicans; women; Muslims; anti-racist protesters; disabled people; liberals; transgender people; and anyone who criticizes or investigates him); redefining dissent and criticism as treason; and considering himself above the law (“I have an Article 2, where I have the right to do whatever I want as president.”)
A good leader should have emotional maturity, stability, self-confidence without a sense of entitlement, realistic self-worth without self-inflation, discipline without rigidity, and be committed to critical thinking. A good leader should strive to be admired and valued without the need for constant admiration and attention, have strong empathy for others, be reasonably trusting without being gullible or paranoid, and have the ability to make rational, reasoned decisions based on evidence without being impulsive or resorting to superstition or magical thinking. A good leader should be humble enough to admit faults and mistakes and be honest with him/herself and the nation. A confident, competent leader should have no need to demand unwavering loyalty.
Trump is easy to hate.

Who is really radical?
I’m sick and tired of hearing about radical left lunatics.
Let’s define radical. From the Cambridge Dictionary: “believing in or expressing the belief that there should be great or extreme social or political change.” This has happened within the first 100 days of the Trump administration.
Eliminating the Department of Education — that’s radical.
Stopping all funding for USAID — that’s radical.
Talking about a third term — that’s radical.
Putting unqualified individuals in charge of departments — that’s radical.
Withdrawing the U.S. from its global leadership and rejecting democratic allies in favor of autocrats like Russia’s Vladimir Putin — that’s radical.
Gutting the civil service and illegally shuttering federal agencies — that’s radical.
Wanting to eliminate the free press — that’s radical.
Pardoning the people who attacked the Capitol and killed officers — that’s radical.
Massive layoffs at Health and Human Services — that’s radical.
Halting research grants at universities and defunding of children’s cancer research — that’s radical.
Eliminating protections for clean air and water and clean energy — that’s radical.
Suggesting taking over Greenland, Canada and Panama — that’s radical.
Unexpectedly high tariffs on many nations — that’s radical.
Ignoring protective legal status and deporting someone, not allowing people due process (Fifth Amendment) — that’s radical.
Acting as he wishes, regardless of laws and the Constitution — that’s radical.
Putting a war group chat (bombing of Houthis) on a unsecure commercial messaging app — that’s radical.
Suggesting that Ukraine started the war — that’s not only radical, it’s a lie.
Trying to eliminate birthright citizenship (14th Amendment) and proposing a $5 million “gold card” as a route to citizenship — that’s radical.
The so-called radical left fights for healthcare for all, tackles wealth and income inequality, fights to get money out of politics, uplifts local economies, and strengthens American democracy. Are these things radical or helpful to the American people?
