A driver died after a fiery crash in Laguna Hills on Wednesday, April 30, authorities said.
The Tesla crashed into a tree near 2300 Avenida De La Carlota at around 9:30 a.m., Orange County Sheriff’s Department Sgt Gerard McCann said. One person was inside the vehicle and was found dead at the scene. He could not say whether the vehicle was a sedan or truck.
The person’s identity is not yet known, McCann said on Friday.
The sheriff’s major accident investigation team is looking into what led to the crash.
No addition information was available.
