A woman sat behind bars Thursday, suspected of committing a pair of stabbings in Ocean Beach last month.
Officers arrested Jana Nicole Halaska, 29, Tuesday in the 400 block of Robinson Avenue in Hillcrest after identifying her as a suspect in the alleged attacks, according to the San Diego Police Department.
SDPD received reports of an assault at Bacon Street and Newport Avenue shortly after 1 a.m. April 13. A patrol found two men, ages 29 and 36, suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Halaska, a San Diego resident, allegedly attacked the men, though she apparently did not known them, after one of them took part in a confrontation with a fourth person near Ocean Beach Pier.
The suspect faces multiple charges, including attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon and drug possession. She is being held without bail at Las Colinas Detention Facility in Santee with her arraignment set for Friday.
The stabbing victims, whose names were not released, are expected to survive.
