Those of us who grew up watching Full House felt like DJ Tanner, played by Candace Cameron Bure, was one of our friends even though we didn't know her. She was just so kind, down-to-earth, and relatable, especially in her high school years.
Viewers were particularly invested when DJ got her first boyfriend, Steve, (Scott Weigner) as we watched her fall in love for the first time. And while DJ and Steve were a super cute couple on-screen, they clearly had a strong bond and friendship off camera as well.
Bure just shared a series of old throwback photos from her high school prom days, and the first one in the series has Full House fans totally freaking out. No -- that's not DJ and Steve. That's Bure, and Weigner. Many people don't know this, but the two of them actually attended her real-life prom together!

People are totally blown away by this fun fact, which Bure confirmed in the comments after someone asked, "Just a question, did you go to your real prom or only DJ Tanner's?" Bure replied with, "First picture is real life!"

Full House fans can't get enough of this cute tidbit. One person exclaimed, "OMG did you actually take “Steve” to your real-life prom? I LOVE THAT!!!"
Another added, "Y'ALL WENT TO PROM TOGETHER?! OMG MY HEART CAN'T TAKE THIS."
Someone else chimed in with a true gem, saying, "Bet Kathy Santoni doesn't have cool prom pics like this @candacecbure ?" LOL!! The best.
As any true Full House fan will tell you, Kathy Santoni may be "so pretty," but she could never possibly measure up to DJ in the genuine and cool department.
