Mississippi State has a quarterback pledged on board for its 2026 recruiting class.
Brodie McWhorter committed to play for Jeff Lebby‘s MSU program on Thursday. He shared the news with Hayes Fawcett of On3.

On the 247Sports Composite, McWhorter is rated 3-stars, the No. 27 quarterback prospect, No. 57 player in the state of Georgia and No. 498 recruit overall in the Class of 2026.
During his recruitment, McWhorter picked up scholarship offers from 30 programs. Arkansas, Florida State, Louisville, Florida, Michigan State, Georgia, NC State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio State, Oregon and Vanderbilt were among the programs to show interest.
In March, McWhorter named a final 5 of Mississippi State, Colorado, Auburn, Indiana and Wisconsin. Ahead of Thursday’s big decision, he narrowed it to a final 3 of MSU, Colorado and Indiana.
