Caleb McCullough, Melquan Stovall among Sun Devils to receive NFL camp invites

Running back Cam Skattebo was the lone Arizona State Sun Devil to hear his name during the NFL Draft, but several ASU football standouts have landed opportunities to compete for roster spots at the next level.

On Wednesday, a trio of Sun Devils were invited to rookie minicamps, the program announced.

Offensive lineman Emmit Bohle found a spot with the Chicago Bears, linebacker Caleb McCullough with the Cincinnati Bengals and wide receiver Melquan Stovall with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

WR Melquan Stovall – rookie camp invitation, Buccaneers

Stovall played two seasons at ASU, recording 24 catches for 287 yards in 2024. He also returned nine punts and one kickoff.

The 5-foot-11 target hauled in a season-high seven grabs during ASU’s Peach Bowl matchup with Texas, memorably taking a shot to that helmet during the fourth quarter which was controversially not flagged for targeting.

LB Caleb McCullough – rookie camp invitation, Bengals

McCullough played five years and 45 games at ASU, working his way up from special teams standout to key member of the starting defense. He produced a career-high 76 tackles and two interceptions in 2024.

He played an exceptional game with 12 tackles and two interceptions during a win over Utah, which earned him the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week.

OL Emmit Bohle – rookie camp invitation, Bears

Bohle played 14 games for ASU this past season, primarily at left tackle, after suffering a season-ending leg injury early in 2023. He is listed at 6-foot-6, 310 pounds.

OL Leif Fautanu – undrafted free agent contract, Lions

Fautanu had a great season as ASU’s stalwart center, as he played all 14 games and helped create lanes for Skattebo all year. The 315-pound lineman was a draft hopeful, and he lands with an organization that has run out some of the best offensive lines in the NFL in recent memory.

Fautanu was named ASU’s offensive MVP in 2023.

WR Xavier Guillory – undrafted free agent contract, Ravens

Guillory, a 6-foot-2 receiver, caught 43 passes for 565 yards and six touchdowns during his two seasons at Arizona State.

He caught two touchdown passes during ASU’s Big 12 title game romp of Iowa State, including this beauty:
