Orlando Bloom is the latest to join the ranks of unrecognizable celebrities, with fans struggling to place him in his latest ad spot for MSC Cruises.
While the commercial originally aired during the Super Bowl back in February, it's recently been spotted streaming on Hulu—and the 48-year-old's appearance alongside co-star Drew Barrymore had fans doing a double take as the familiar, yet at first unidentifiable actor monologued with a glass of champagne in hand.
That is, until the 50 First Dates star interrupted his thought process, drawing his attention to more pressing matters (mealtimes). If his scene partner hadn't called out to Bloom by his surname, viewers may have been driving themselves mad for hours trying to place him.
"I couldn't figure out who he was," one admitted, as another commented, "I didn’t even recognize Orlando bloom."
Others mistook him for specific alternative celebrities, with one asking, "Is that Antonio Banderas?"
"Dude, Bloom looks like Walter Matthau," another suggested, comparing the Pirates of the Caribbean star to the late Odd Couple star.
But, while he wasn't necessarily looking like himself in the clip, fans still felt he was looking "so fine"—no matter what name came to mind.
