(KRON) -- There is a heavy police presence in South San Francisco on Monday evening, according to the City of South San Francisco. Multiple law enforcement agencies are responding to the 300 block of Arroyo Drive.
SSF officials reported the incident around 6:35 p.m. but did not provide details about why police were being called to the scene.
Residents in the area are instructed to shelter in place until further notice, SSF city officials said. The alert by city officials was posted on X at 6:59 p.m.
