Zach Bryan's Ex Makes Powerful Admission About Their Relationship ...Saudi Arabia

Brianna "Chickenfry" LaPaglia candidly spoke about the impact her breakup with Zach Bryan back in October 2024.

In an interview on the Casual Chaos podcast with Gia Giudice on April 27, the influencer and content creator, 25, revealed that the timing of her split from the country star, 29, also aligned with the end of her friendship with her ex-best friend Grace O'Malley, who was also LaPaglia's co-host of the PlanBri Uncut podcast.

"It felt like my world had just ended — especially being so public and also going through a best friend breakup at the same time," she explained in the episode. "I just lost myself a little bit [in the relationship]. I lost that free spirit that I had… I would walk into a room and I wouldn't be as loud or outgoing as I used to be."

Throughout their relationship, LaPaglia recalled being worried about the way people would perceive her and added she couldn't "recognize myself anymore" and didn't realize she "was turning into something that I wasn't."

"And I think that's what kind of when the light bulb went off," LaPaglia continued. "Someone really can have so much control or power over you without you even realizing it."

Bryan began dating LaPaglia shortly after their first meeting at the Academy of Country Music Awards in May 2023. The pair dated for over a year until Bryan confirmed the end of their relationship on Instagram on Oct. 22.

"Brianna and me have broken up with [each other] and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart," Bryan wrote on Instagram at the time per PEOPLE Magazine. "She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that I'll always thank her."

Hours after Bryan's post on social media, LaPaglia posted her own emotional reaction on YouTube and revealed she was "completely blindsided" by the end of their relationship and had "no idea" the post was going up at the time.

"He didn't text me, he didn't call me. I just woke up to a bunch of texts, like, 'Are you okay?'" she said at the time. "I'm at the point where it's like, how can you give someone everything and love them so unconditionally like through stuff that you shouldn't because you just love them and you want them."
