Susan Lucci has something exciting in the works!
The All My Children alum, 78, appeared in a video for Good Morning America's broadcast on Monday, April 28, where she joyfully announced that she has a brand-new book coming out next year.

Ginger Zee introduced Lucci in a clip from GMA posted to Instagram, teasing big news from a "great friend" of the ABC talk show.
"Good morning America!" Lucci then said while appearing on screen. "I'm Susan Lucci and I'm so excited to share a big announcement with you."
She continued, "15 years after my first book was released, I'm back to share new chapters in my life with my new memoir La Lucci."

The iconic soap opera actress described the new book as an "intimate glimpse" into her life, including stories she has "never told before."
"This book is directly from my heart," Lucci added. I can't wait for you to read it."
And fans were equally as excited about the new project, with Instagram users saying they "can't wait" to crack open the new book.
"I'm so excited ? ?can't wait to read it I'm pre ordering right now" one user commented under the video.
Another added, "I love Susan Lucci! I need this one! ❤️❤️??"
La Lucci will hit bookshelves on February 3, 2026.
