Gujarat Titans (GT) might have faced a massive blow amid the ongoing game against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. Skipper Shubman Gill didn't come out to the field during the second innings at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
Shubman Gill was subbed out ahead of the start of the second innings against the Rajasthan Royals. Veteran pacer Ishant Sharma came out as an impact player, and Rashid Khan has been given the charge to lead the team for the remaining part of the game.
Shubman Gill not coming out to the field in the second innings could well be a hint that the Gujarat Titans skipper is not fit. The captain getting subbed out comes as a massive blow as the batter has been exceptional as a leader in all the games that the team has played in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.
Although there is no official confirmation, things don't look good for him. It remains to be seen if the franchise will release any official statement on the same. The onus will be on Rashid Khan to lead from the front and help his team win.
