Marks and Spencer has temporarily stopped taking orders from its website and apps amid the continued fallout of a cyber attack.
Shares in the historic retailer slid further on Friday afternoon after it confirmed the pause.
Customers began reporting problems at the retailer last weekend, and it confirmed on Tuesday it was dealing with a “cyber incident.”

On Wednesday, it said that customer-facing systems had returned to normal, but then warned it had been forced to take some systems offline as part of its “management of the incident.”
It stopped processing contactless payments and paused the collection of click and collect orders in its stores, as well as warning of delays to online order deliveries.
In a statement on Friday, it said: “We are truly sorry for this inconvenience.”
“Our stores are open to welcome customers,” it added.
