CHARLOTTE (PINPOINT WEATHER) -- Thursday starts cool and comfortable with low to mid-60s locked in to start the day. Mountain counties are a bit cooler, with the low 50s this morning, with spotty light rain possible for our morning commute.
Fog will be patchy this morning, but not as dense as Wednesday. Be on the lookout for a mix of sun & clouds today as highs make a run for the mid to upper 70s this afternoon.
Showers and storms will plague the forecast yet again as our active pattern continues. This time, rain can linger a bit longer overnight as we dip into the 60s heading into Friday.
Friday will finish the workweek in the upper 70s with one more good chance of afternoon and evening rain. We’ll continue to warm up heading into Saturday, ahead of an approaching cold front that will cool things down through the weekend.

Rain and storm chances will focus on earlier parts of the day on Saturday, but we’re starting to look more dry than wet as the cold front ushers in 70s for Sunday.
A dry end to the weekend will lead to a dry start to next week, with Monday kicking things off mostly sunny and in the upper 70s. Temperatures warm back up into the mid-80s, with rain chances returning by Wednesday.
