"Busy [Philipps] and Michelle [Williams] are very, very close," he sais. "And Katie and I are very close."
And while he admits "it’s not a daily call, sometimes it’s not a weekly or monthly or even a half-yearly call," he said, "But when you’re together, A, there’s always that I know you know. And B, there is, you know, these moments, like, these major moments in life are, other than your husband, there’s probably no other people in your life that you are that forged to."
He added, "Because you had to go through good and bad and happy and f--k you and don’t talk to me and I love you."
Dawson's Creek was a beloved coming-of-age drama that aired on The WB from 1998 to 2003, and followed a group of teens in the fictional town of Capeside, Massachusetts. In addition to the aforementioned Jackson, Holmes, Philipps and Williams, the series also starred James Van Der Beek as the titular character of Dawson.
Jackson and Holmes, who also had a very popular onscreen romance – their characters ended up together – dated in real life for a time during filming. "I fell in love, I had my first love, and it was something so incredible and indescribable that I will always treasure it," she told Rolling Stone of the relationship back in 2001.
