Whoopi Goldberghas something to say to Americans who have been taking to the streets recently in protest of President Donald Trump's administration.
During the Tuesday, April 22 broadcast of The View, Goldberg took a moment to express her gratitude to protesters, addressing them directly to say "thank you."

"I want to say thank you for still getting up and getting out over the weekends and protesting and making your voices heard," the EGOT winner said on Tuesday. "I want to thank you for that."
While the studio audience cheered with applause, Goldberg went on to say, "I want to thank you for not being afraid to say, 'We are not happy.'"

Over the weekend, protesters gathered in hundreds of locations across the U.S. to protest the current administration for the second time this month, following the nationwide "Hands Off" protests that took place earlier in April.
"It's American citizens saying 'There's something wrong here. And we don't like it, and we're not standing for it,'" Goldberg, 69, added during the ABC talk show on Tuesday.
"And I just wanna say thank y'all, because that's what it's gonna take," the Sister Act star added.
