As the coronavirus pandemic continues to ravage its way through the country, small businesses have been hit particularly hard by the economic shutdown. With numbers at an all time high, many states have forced a ban on indoor dining but with cold winter weather, restaurants have to make a choice: close down, offer take-out only, or spend money on heaters, tents and other necessary equipment. Upon seeing these businesses struggle to make ends meet, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy started the Barstool Fund, an online fundraiser seeking to help those in need.
