There are a handful of MTV stars who have been doing The Challenge for decades and have not gotten a win. One of the longest-running competitors to never claim a title is Aneesa Ferreira. She has been plagued by injuries on the show, and it has been a plot point on the more recent seasons that she may not be in the kind of physical shape that is required to excel at the kind of brutal gauntlets The Challenge throws at its contestants.
But in the offseason, it looks like Ferreira has been working on her fitness because her most recent Instagram posts are showing off an "amazing" physical transformation for The Real World: Chicago alum.
Ferreira's friends and fans really started noticing the change back in January when Ferreira posted a side-by-side comparison photo of what she used to look like versus what she looks like now — and the results are incredible. In the caption, Ferreira noted that the before photo is from July 2023 and the after photo is from January 2025.
"These are constant reminders that keep fueling my fire!!! Though it’s hard to post these, I’m so proud of how far I’ve come. If you’re on your journey and things seem to be moving in slow motion, KEEP GOING!!! Stay consistent and the benefits will come!!!!!" wrote Ferreira on the photo.
Her Challenge co-stars Derrick Kosinski, CT Tamburello, Kyland Young, Syrus Yarbrough, Nany Gonzalez, Emily Schromm, Tiffany Mitchell and more were quick to praise her efforts, with Kosinski simply writing, "AneesaFit ?."

She later posted a triple side-by-side that shows her before The Challenge season 40, in the middle of The Challenge: All Stars season 5, and then at the end of January 2025 and again, the results are outstanding.
She also said that her hard work isn't just for The Challenge, it's because she's getting older and she needs to "be healthier and feel good."
Finally, in her most recent update from April 20, Ferreira posted a video of herself working out and said there is "more workout content to come."
Ferreira most recently appeared on The Challenge: All Stars season 5, which filmed way back in May through July 2024, so Ferreira has not yet competed on a season of the show in her current state of being super fit. The Challenge season 41 is rumored to have been filmed in February through April 2025, according to reliable spoiler account GamerVev, so hopefully, a yoked Ferreira is part of the cast showing off her fitness.
Ferreira has been a part of 21 seasons of The Challenge and its spinoffs, making it to the final four times without a win. If she is on season 41, that will be her 22nd season of the show. She is third behind Johnny "Bananas" Devenanzio (26 appearances) and Tamburello (23 appearances) for participating in the most seasons of the show.
MTV has not yet announced when The Challenge season 41 will premiere.
