UFC President Dana White suffered an awkward live television moment during WrestleMania 41 on Saturday night.
The crowd’s reaction to White at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas was noticed on Peacock.
The UFC chief White appeared on Saturday for the first installment of wrestling’s massive two-day event.
There were 61,000-plus fans at the showpiece.
However, the 55-year-old White was met with a disapproving reception from the WWE fans at the venue.
White first threw his arm up to wave to the crowd but then smiled awkwardly at the camera after being hit with boos.
The MMA mogul also stared into the distance during the jeer sequence.
It’s believed that White was given the same reception when he was shown on the jumbotron later in the evening.
The boos likely stemmed from a rowdy, riled-up crowd who appeared to be against any mention of the UFC or MMA at the wrestling event.
WWE fans shared their reactions to White’s brutal moment on social media.
“Heel Dana (fire emoji),” one wrote.
“Why they booing him bruh!” another commented.
“It’s hilarious how much polar opposites WWE and MMA fans are,” a third said.”
“Just brutal for Dana,” a fourth added.
The UFC and WWE have operated under the same banner since joining together to create TKO in 2023.
White has voiced his support for the WWE.
He narrated an opening montage video called “City of Dreamers” during Saturday’s WrestleMania event.

“This is crazy,” White said.
