Arizona State men’s basketball landed has received a commitment from Montenegrin forward Andrija Grbovic, ESPN’s Jonathan Givony first reported on Thursday.
The 6-foot-9 forward will turn 22 in September and joins head coach Bobby Hurley’s program after playing for SC Derby in Europe’s ABA League.
In 24 ABA games played in 2024-25, Grbovic scored 7.9 points in 17.9 minutes per contest. He finished 34-for-74 on shots beyond the arc for an impressive 45.9% clip.

He also shot 82.4% from the free-throw line and grabbed 3.3 rebounds. He’s been on fire lately, averaging 19.3 points per game in three April contests.
Grbovic represented his national team during the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers.
He joins an incoming class that includes four-star freshmen Jaion Pitt and Marcus Jackson, along with transfers Maurice Odum and Marcus Adams Jr.
ASU’s roster is going to look much different from last season, as Jayden Quaintance, Joson Sanon, Adam Miller, Shawn Phillips Jr., Amier Ali, BJ Freeman and Basheer Jihad all entered the transfer portal after a 13-20 season.
