Nearly 30,000 customers were without power in Adams County on Friday morning, according to Xcel Energy.
The utility’s outage map shows 29,132 customers, largely in Westminster, Thornton and Northglenn, had lost power as of 10:40 a.m.
Xcel said on its outage map that its crews are assessing damage and did not offer an estimated time of restoration.
