Shafaq News/ Yemen’s Ansarallah (Houthis) launched missileattacks on two US aircraft carriers and struck a military target near Israel’sBen Gurion Airport.
Houthi Military Spokesperson Yahya Saree announced in astatement that ballistic missiles were fired at the USS Harry S. Truman and theUSS Carl Vinson and their escorts in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea, marking whatthe group described as its first strike on the Vinson since its deployment inthe region. The Houthis also said they had shot down a US MQ-9 drone over Sanaaprovince.
The group also pointed out it had launched a ballisticmissile—of the Zulfiqar type—toward a military site near the Israeli city ofJaffa (Yafa).
The announcement came just hours after US airstrikes on theHouthi-controlled Ras Isa oil port in western Yemen killed at least 74 peopleand wounded 171, according to Al-masirah Houthis affiliated media. The port, amajor node for fuel imports, was hit overnight in what marked one of thedeadliest American strikes in the ongoing campaign against the Iran-alignedgroup.

The airstrikes are part of a broadercampaign launched in March by President Donald Trump targeting Houthiinfrastructure and revenue sources in response to their attacks on Red Seashipping.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani describedit as a “flagrant violation of international law,” while Hamas said the attackconstituted “a war crime and blatant aggression against the sovereignty ofYemen.”
The Houthis have been engaged in escalating confrontationswith the US since mid-March, when they resumed their blockade of Israeli-linkedshipping routes in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza.
