Ben Whittaker and Liam Cameron will renew hostilities in a highly anticipated rematch this weekend, live on talkSPORT.
The pair met on the undercard of Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol in October, but their fight ended in simply remarkable fashion.
In the dying embers of the fifth round, both men flipped over the top rope, and with Whittaker injured, the contest ended in a draw.
The Briton was accused of ‘quitting’ the fight, having left the event in a wheelchair, and boxing fans demanded the pair meet again to settle the score.
A sequel has now been made official for Easter Sunday, as Olympic silver medallist Whittaker looks to get his pro career back on track.
The two fighters came into the talkSPORT studio in February to preview their fight with tensions between them at a maximum.
Since then, the pair have been involved in a messy contract dispute days before they fight.
Cameron informed talkSPORT two weeks ago that Whittaker’s promotional outfit, BOXXER, was trying to reduce the number of rounds to 10 despite him already signing to compete in 12.
It was later disclosed that an ‘administrative error’ had led to both men receiving different contracts – Whittaker for a 10-round fight and Cameron for a 12-rounder.
After some back and forth between the two camps, it has finally been agreed that the fight will be over ten rounds.
A compensation package has been agreed with Cameron for the fight as well.

Speaking to talkSPORT in October, Cameron said: “He 100 per cent quit. Of course, he did.
“From the second round, he was breathing so heavy. He spat his gum shield out, he was holding me constantly, he was low-blowing me.
“And he basically dragged me onto the ropes. You can see him flip his head back.
“He was exhausted, I was quite surprised how easy it was.
“Ben Whittaker is in a really bad position because he has to fight me again. And he can’t beat me. There’s no way of that.
“He cannot beat me. There’s no way on this planet Earth he can ever beat me.”
Neither man has fought since their first fight, with Whittaker nursing several injuriesMark Robinson / Matchroom BoxingShalom joined talkSPORT earlier this week to reveal that the fight was agreed, and it was going ahead.
He said: “It’s always been ten. I’ve said it’s been ten, we admitted the error two weeks ago.
“It has now been agreed by everyone that it is ten rounds. They have had their fun with it.
“We felt it was dealt with quite a while ago, we felt it was done two weeks ago.
“A week later what was asked for completely changed. We had told the board and everyone that it was agreed.
“Frank I’ve never even spoken to about the deal. I can see what’s going on.
“We dealt with this in February. We did what they asked, it should have been done and suddenly things changed.
“We agreed to pay Liam and he deserves every penny, it was our mistake.
“What’s happened has been farcical, it has been a circus. But now we are here’s it’s ten rounds and we can look forward to an unbelievable fight.”
