It’s every chef for themselves again this week on Next Level Chef and last week’s results determined who is cooking where. Beatrice Heirigs and Austin Beckett had the top dishes, so they are in the top-level kitchen with Richard Blais. Arnav Kamulkar, Becca Guevara and Bobby Hicks cooked their way into the middle level kitchen with Gordon Ramsay. Which meant that Brandon Rogers, Megan Keno and Ryan Scanlon were in the bottom level with Nyesha Arrington.
This week’s challenge is to cook a next-level Cajun and New Orleans-inspired dish that blends southern flare with French influence.

The Cajun celebration was about gumbo, jambalaya and po’ boy sandwiches, downhome cooking. The chef who created the best dish received a coveted time token that will give them a major advantage in the next challenge.
The two top dishes were Bobby, who made frog legs, and Beatrice, who cooked shrimp, but the time token could only go to one person and that person was Beatrice.
Cooking well enough to earn the middle-level kitchen next week were Austin, Brandon and Megan.
What was the elimination challenge this episode of Next Level Chef, and who lost it?

The three chefs headed to the elimination challenge were Becca for her off-theme pork belly, Ryan for his under seasoned rib eye, and Arnav for his too-tough alligator dish. The challenge was a classic French-inspired dish.
The person who was eliminated was Becca, because she failed to render the fat on her duck sufficiently to please Gordon and Nyesha.
Nyesha, who was Becca’s coach told her, “I think you learned who you are in this competition. I never doubted you and you pushed your boundaries. Your road forward is limitless.”
“I am really proud of myself,” Becca said. “I didn’t think I was going to get this far. I am really proud of everything I put out. I am just sad that it’s over.
