When Wheel of Fortune host Ryan Seacrest introduces the contestants on every episode, each player reveals a fun tidbit about themselves — the more specific (or odd), the better.
On the Tuesday, April 15 episode of the show, contestant Nikki Lopez — who does aquascaping, or "interior designing for fish," as she joked — wanted to make sure everyone knew she was single and ready to mingle.
"Nikki told us she wants her relationship status to be known," Seacrest, 50, announced to the audience while introducing the Florida resident. "So Nikki, do the honors!"
"I'm single as a Pringle!" Lopez declared, laughing and throwing her arms in the air.
Seacrest, for his part, was a bit confused by the phrase.
"Single as what, a Pringle? Don't they come ... packed together?" he questioned, miming the chip brand's famous tube packaging.
The longtime American Idol host went on to discuss Lopez's job as a "finterior designer," he quipped, wishing her "good luck" with her endeavor.
"And the relationship thing!" he added.
As for Seacrest's own relationship status, the Live WithKelly and Ryan alum most recently hinted that he was single in a December 2024 episode of Wheel, when he asked a contestant for marriage advice — "if it ever happens" for him, he quipped. The remark came several months after his split from girlfriend Aubrey Paige, whom he dated for three years before their breakup in April 2024.
"After three beautiful years together, Ryan and Aubrey have mutually decided to part ways," an source told Peopleat the time, adding: "They plan to stay in each other’s lives as good friends and support one another’s endeavors."
Prior to his relationship with Paige, Seacrest famously dated Julianne Hough from 2010 to 2013. Along with some other famous names — he once went on a date with Desperate Housewives alum Teri Hatcher — Seacrest also dated Shayna Taylor on and off for eight years.
