DENVER (KDVR) -- Brighton police are investigating a threat involving social media posts to a few Brighton schools, the department said Tuesday morning.
Police said students in question are in either police custody or under adult supervision, though they did not say if the students are facing charges. FOX31 has asked Brighton police if the students were arrested and if charges were expected.
FOX31 obtained a message school district 27J Schools sent to parents, which said two students were mentioned in connection to the threat.
"The students in question have been in custody or under close adult supervision for a week and remain in that situation today," the message read. "These students are not currently a threat to our schools, and police continue to investigate this matter."
