CBB viewers have hit out at the behaviour of contestant JoJo Siwa, claiming her tactile interactions with fellow housemate Chris Hughes are innapropriate, as she has a girlfriend on the outside.
On Monday night’s show, American dancer, singer and social media personality JoJo, 21, lay next to Chris’s bed and wrote a message on his hand with her finger, the latest example of the pair’s close bond.
JoJo, who came out as gay, is in a relationship with actor Kath Ebbs, 27, who identifies as non-binary, while Love Island star turned ITV racing pundit Chris is straight.
And viewers think Chris and JoJo’s “flirty” interactions in the CBB house are unfair on Kath.
One disgruntled viewer says: “I feel sorry for JoJo’s partner. There is being friendly but it’s actually disrespectful to her partner.”
While another says: “You’d think it would be brother, sister vibes but what we’ve seen so far is weird.”
And a third fan says: “JoJo and Chris are incredibly flirtatious! Friends don’t act that way.”
While another has suggested the mystery word JoJo wrote on Chris’s hand suggests the two might be more than friends.
They say: “Looks like LOVE she wrote in hand. Confused with these two.”
JoJo and Chris have seemingly enjoyed one another’s company since entering the house and their close relationship from the start now appears to have grown even closer.
Chris came to JoJo’s defence when now kicked out Mickey Rourke made a hompohobic comment towards her.
They’ve been very tactile towards one another particularly in the bedroom, where they’ve previously been caught holding hands and even cuddled in bed together, when Chris was seen scratching her back.
JoJo also decided to sleep on the floor right next to Chris, when she wrote the mystery word on his hand.
After he was voted out politician Michael Fabricant said he wondered if there was a romantic element to JoJo and Chris’s relationship.
Michael was responding to a question from CBB Late and Live guest Lauren Simon, about whether he detected any chemistry between them.
He said: “I think there is! I was saying to Jack [P Shepherd], ‘What do you think’s going on?’ and he said, ‘Oh, I think they’re just dancers.‘”
Following months of speculation Dance Moms star JoJo confirmed in January that she was dating Kath.
Chris has previously dated the likes of reality star Olivia Attwood, singer Jessy Nelson and professional golfer Annabel Dimmock.
