It looks likeMatt Damon's latest starring role required some serious gym time.
In a series of recent photos obtained by Page Six, the 54-year-old actor — who's currently filming Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey — showed off his toned physique while soaking up the sun on a yacht off the coast of Favignana, Italy, on Friday, April 11.

Damon ditched his blue t-shirt to take a dip in the ocean, making an impressive backflip off the yacht. He had a shaggy beard, and his damp salt-and-pepper hair was slicked back from his face as he paused to enjoy a beer with his unidentified companions.

This isn't the first time Damon has been seen shirtless on the set of The Odyssey.
Last month, the Departed actor's abs were on display once again when he was photographed on a rocky hillside in Favignana, Italy, wearing a pair of tattered beige pants and nothing else. Damon's costar Zendaya was also pictured in the same series of snaps, wearing a long tan Grecian-style dress.
It hasn't yet been revealed who Zendaya is playing in the film, but it was previously announced that Damon was cast as the protagonist, Odysseus, whileTom Holland will star as his son, Telemachus.
Damon also appeared in Nolan's Academy Award-winning film Oppenheimer in 2023 as U.S. Army officer Leslie Groves, who oversaw J. Robert Oppenheimer's work on the Manhattan project during World War II.
