DENVER (KDVR) — It's going to be very warm across Colorado on Saturday with the Denver weather forecast featuring potential record heat in the afternoon.
We'll see breezy conditions, and given how dry some vegetation and the air will be, fire weather conditions will exist Saturday as well.

It'll be a very mild night by early-April standards overnight Saturday. Lows around metro Denver fall to only around 50 degrees.
Winds will occasionally gust from the south-southwest around 20 miles per hour.

Denver's record high Saturday is 85 degrees set in 2023. The city will be close to that record for afternoon highs, but clouds will need to be watched as they could keep temperatures down a couple of degrees.

A cold front will sweep through Sunday and knock temperatures back into the 60s for afternoon highs, but it will still be warmer than normal.
Winds will gust upwards of 30 miles per hour. Rain chances will arrive late in the evening and overnight. Temperatures may fall low enough for a brief period of wet snowfall too, but no accumulation is expected.
Up and down temperatures over the coming week.Rain/snow showers will end early on Monday before a breezy and cooler afternoon with highs near seasonal values. Denver high temperatures will be back into the 70s starting Tuesday.
