FANS of a restaurant chain that has been branded better than Chick-fil-A by some diners will be forced to find an alternative in line with an upcoming holiday.
The fast-food giant will be closing more than 800 of its locations so workers can spend time with their families.
Raising Cane’s restaurants will not be open on April 20 – Easter Sunday.
The fast-food chain is also known for shutting up shop for other holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Raising Cane’s eateries are set to re-open as normal on Easter Monday.
The fast food chain, founded in Louisiana, has proved a hit among fans since its launch in 1996.
It’s known for its combo meals, which comprises of chicken fingers, fries, coleslaw, and the famous Cane’s sauce.
Groups can also buy tailgate meals – featuring up to 100 chicken fingers.
The 100 chicken finger portion can feed up to 29 people, according to the chain.
Raising Cane’s has proved to be that much of a hit, some believe its produce is better than that of its rivals.
“I know I’m late, but wow Raising Canes is better than Chick fil-A,” one fan chimed.
Another suggested that the chicken tenders on offer at Raising Canes are tastier.
“I love Raising Canes,” a third fan admitted.
“Great restaurant. Better than Chick-fil-A.”
Social media users have even created polls on the restaurant chain that offers the best sauce.
One survey revealed that 56% of participants were in the Raising Cane’s camp.
Raising Cane’s is not the only chain whose stores will be closed on Easter Sunday.
Chick-fil-A establishments will be silent in line with the chain’s long-standing tradition of not being open on Sunday.
In-N-Out burger locations will not be open on April 20, as per Nexstar.
Retailers Open and Closed for Easter
Shoppers can generally expect the following retailers to be open and closed on Easter Sunday, which falls on April 20, 2025, this year:

Fast food lovers will still be able to head to their local Burger King, McDonald’s or Wendy’s location.
A whole host of major retailers have taken the decision to close stores for Easter Sunday.
The U.S. Sun has reported Macy’s, Target, and JCPenney stores will not be open.
Walmart is one of the anomalies as its network of stores will remain open.
