ESPN made wholesale changes to it’s schedule Thursday and Friday.
The usual weekday morning program of Get Up and First Take were bumped from the main channel.

The sports network cleared the path for full coverage of a major event.
ESPN broadcasts day one and two of the Masters from the Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia.
And they went all out with their coverage from the first golf major of the year.
The full live broadcast of the exclusive event doesn’t begin until 3 pm ET.
But the build-up dominated ESPN’s schedule on Thursday and Friday.
Get Up was replaced by two hour-long episodes of SportsCenter.
The show airs from New York City from 8 am ET until 10 am ET on weekday mornings.
But it was moved to ESPN2 to make way for SportsCenter.
First Take was also bumped to the secondary channel.
Molly Qerim and Stephen A. Smith’s show is usually on air from 10 am ET to midday ET every weekday.
But it was replaced on the main ESPN channel by Masters-themed programs.
SportsCenter at the Masters was scheduled for 10 am ET until 1 pm ET on both Thursday and Friday.
A special two-hour build-up show called Welcome to the Masters from 1 pm ET completed the new-look studio show lineup.
And the live broadcast then kicked in from 3 pm ET through the afternoon and evening.
There was also a special SportsCenter at the Masters broadcast on the schedule for 7.30 pm ET.

6 am ET - SportsCenter
10 am ET – SportsCenter at the Masters
1 pm ET – Welcome to the Masters
3 pm ET – Masters LIVE
7.30 pm ET – SportsCenter at the Masters
ESPN sometimes moves First Take to prioritise live sport.
One such instance occurs during Wimbledon in June and July.
The tennis tournament is held in London, England, which is five hours ahead of ET.
That means the live action is usually underway before America wakes up.
CBS takes over from ESPN as Masters broadcaster for the weekend action.
