DEION Sanders is still sticking up for his players even after the season ended.
While at the Colorado Buffaloes football pro day, Deion Sanders could be seen barking at NFL scouts.
In a video from the pro day, a scout could be seen trying to coach Colorado players on how to run the 40-yard dash.
Coach Prime could instantly been seen getting upset by this and stormed over to confront the coach.
After the scout got up from his stance, Sanders shared his own message about the 40-yard dash.
“Y’all start how you wanna start,” he said.
“Don’t listen to this man here, do your own thing. Do what y’all do.”
NFL fans had split opinions about how Sanders decided to handle the situation and shared their thoughts on social media.
“Deion is right. It’s too late to improve or make tweaks to your 40,” one fan said.
“Lmao deion acting like he has a stable of NFL guys lol. Dudes lucky to be there,” another fan said.
“Unprofessional asf,” a third fan said.
“I am listening to Prime and doing what he says,” a fourth fan said.
“Deion approach wasn’t the best but I understand where’s he coming from. He didn’t have to show up the scout like that,” a fifth fan said.
Colorado is set to have multiple players drafted in the form of Travis Hunter, Shedeur Sanders, and more.
Those two guys didn’t really need to do much at their pro day though, they are already established first rounders.
It was guys like wide receiver Jimmy Horn who needed to put on a good showing for scouts.
It is possible that Colorado could have around four or five guys get selected in 2025.
Sanders is currently projected to go to the Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, or Pittsburgh Steelers.
Hunter is projected to get selected within the top three picks of the draft.
No matter what happens, it should be a successful day for the Colorado program.
