Every once in a while, Trader Joe's releases a product that has shoppers running to the store in the hopes of scoring it before it sells out. Last year, it was the colorful mini-cooler bags. I can remember going to my local store at about 1pm in the afternoon on the day they released, only to find they'd already sold out.
Unfortunately, I'm also likely too late to nab the hottest viral product of 2025, the Trader Joe's mini tote bags, which dropped in certain locations earlier this week. Needless to say, people are in a panic to score one of these babies, with shoppers on social media admitting they're "obsessed."

Check out this scene of people in a total frenzy at 8:00am trying to grab a bag or two. According to a follow-up video posted to this same account, they sold out in a mere 6 minutes.

Of course, some stores are doing more than others to ensure more people have a chance to have one of these viral bags. One commenter on the video above said, "My TJs allows 4 per customer, 12 is insane!"
Another shopper wasn't as lucky, adding, "My TJ had NO limit. The man in front of me bought 46 and another man bought 3 sealed boxes of bags. Like why?"
One word: eBay. (Sad, but true.)
