Wendy's fans have uncovered a potential dupe for the restaurant's spicy chicken nuggets sold by Walmart's Great Value brand, but the discovery has drawn mixed reactions online.
Trusted foodstagrammer Snackolator shared the "Spicy Chicken Nuggets Knockoff" on the social media platform on the evening of Tuesday, April 8, but not everyone was on board with the alternative option.
"As someone who loves a good spicy chicken nugget, this one is intriguing!" the influencer wrote, noting that the Great Value nugs "just happen to look exactly like the Wendy's nuggets..."

It's evident that Snackolator hasn't tried the option yet, though, noting that "if they are anywhere close they could be great to have when the craving hits"—but fans who have had the opportunity for a taste test aren't all sold.

For some, "they will do" in a pinch, but are "super spicy"—much spicier than their fast food counterpart.
"They are good, but too spicy to eat on a regular basis lol," someone else emphasized.
Others couldn't take it, with one calling them "Wayyy too spicy."
"These are SO spicy," another agreed. "I can handle spicy and these were too much. I was bummed."
Some found it to be "solid intel," though, with one confirming, "they’re really good and comparable to them but they’re spicier ?."
