Al Roker is dealing with a bit of a bump in the road on his latest adventure.
The Today show personality—along with co-host Craig Melvin—was making his way to Miami, Fla., on Tuesday, April 8, when their flight was diverted to Fort Myers due to severe thunderstorms happening in the area.

The TV weatherman shared a vlog-style video on his Instagram page to update his followers on the "unfortunate" situation, while explaining that he and his colleagues were supposed to be headed to Miami to film the Today show live from the World America cruise ship on Wednesday.
"So, not sure what we're gonna do," Roker, 70, said in the clip, while noting that in addition to him and Melvin, 45, their photographer and makeup artist were also stuck in Fort Myers as well.
"Obviously, I don't really need much makeup, but Craig..." Roker joked in the clip, keeping things light with his signature sense of humor.

While he was filming the video, Roker was clearly being recognized by people in the airport, with some passersby even pointing at the TV personality.
"I love the people realizing they’re in the presence of greatness and are pointing at you," one user commented on the clip.
Roker shared a follow-up Instagram video on Wednesday to show that he and his colleagues had stopped by a bar in the airport while they figured out what to do. (Dylan Dreyer, who is also supposed to host the special remote broadcast on Wednesday, has already arrived safely in Miami, according to Roker).
In a third video taken from inside a car, Roker confirmed that they are now driving to Miami, which is about a 2 and 1/2 hour drive.
