THE mother of a one-year-old who tragically passed away in a car collision has paid tribute to her “beautiful boy”.
It follows a three-car crash in Amesbury which saw four people including another boy, aged five, injured.
Tributes have poured in after the tragedy as the mum took to social media to express how her “darling Teddy” will be missed.
Holly Britten wrote: “As many saw the last post about my gorgeous boy I thought it was only right to keep you updated.
“My darling boy gained his wings and is now at peace. We will obviously use the go fund me to give him the best possible send off possible.
“Thank you to everyone that reached out to me from the last post wishing us well. Your love wasn’t and isn’t unnoticed.
“Teddy you will be missed my darling.”
The heartbreaking incident took place on March 28 when a white Peugeot 208 was being driven by a woman in her twenties along the eastbound carriageway of the A303.
After colliding with a Skoda Karoq, the vehicle spun onto the westbound carriageway and crashed head-on with a silver Volvo near the Bulford junction.
She suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries, as did the five-year-old boy.
Wiltshire Police previously urged anyone with relevant information to come forward.
A GoFundMe page has been set up by the dad’s brother, already raising nearly £5000.
It reads: “As most of you are aware my brother, his partner and their kids were involved in a car crash leaving his partner with serious injuries and his 1 year old boy fighting for his life.
“Unfortunately due to his injuries Teddy has now passed away.
“This will continue to result in missed days at work while still having to cover every day costs, which is definitely adding up.
“The money will continue to be used to cover these every day costs until things become more stable. Some of the funds will be used to provide Teddy and his family with the best farewell possible.
“Any money remain will be donated to Ronald McDonald house and the pediatric unit who did a wonderful job at looking after Teddy and supporting the family
“Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. It is appreciated.”
